Data We Collect
Reveal Reach is built on a strictly serverless layout. We do not collect any personal data, usage data, or tracking parameters. Here is exactly how we handle state:
- The extension stores only two values locally in your web browser using Chrome's native
chrome.storage.localAPI: your custom CPM setting and your Frequency setting. - These inputs are kept exclusively inside your local sandbox. They never leave your device, are never uploaded, and are never accessible to us or any third party.
- We do not utilize name records, email lists, IP addresses, browser history records, or any personal identifier trackers.
- We do not support or require user registration, profiles, or accounts.
EU Reach Data
The extension acts as a client-side parser reading publicly available EU advertising transparency data directly from the document object model (DOM) of the Meta Ads Library page (facebook.com/ads/library).
This reach information is generated and published publicly by Meta in compliance with European regulatory disclosures (Digital Services Act). Reveal Reach only visualizes, computes spend, and sorts these local data points. We do not store, transmit, process, or aggregate this data on any server.
Website Analytics
Our website (transparencyads.com) may use basic, privacy-respecting server-side analytics. This logging does not utilize tracking cookies, does not build user fingerprint profiles, and is solely used to monitor aggregate web traffic levels. No personally identifiable details are collected.
Third-Party Services
We do not sell, rent, lease, trade, or share any information with third parties. Because the extension has no external database or server backplane, there is no technical pipeline through which data could be transmitted or shared.
Cookies
The Reveal Reach extension does not use tracking cookies or session identifiers. Similarly, our marketing landing pages do not install tracking scripts, retargeting pixels, or advertising cookies.
